The Marine Patrol boat is a 21ft 2000 Boston Whaler Justice purchased in part by a Florida Boating Improvement Program Grant administered by the Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission.
 
 
The is one serious tough boat made by Brunswick Commericial & Government Products.
 
The motor is 200hp Mercury 4-stroke purchased in 2010 in part by a Waterways Assistance Program Grant, funded by the Florida Inland Navigation District.
 
This boat is used to patrol our waterways, canals, and Samsons Island. Additionally, it is also used by the Satellite Beach Fire Department for fire and rescue services.
 
The boat is operated by our police officers and by our COP Marine Program volunteers. As a team, they provide assistance and security for the safety of persons utilizing Samsons Island and also offers high visibility on the waters surrounding Satellite Beach. They patrol for suspicious activities and unsafe operation of watercraft in these waters.
